Wishes of woman of today?

                  Every woman wants to marry, but the woman of today has got some wishes and desires.  If those are fulfilled, she is happy and if those are not fulfilled, she is not satisfied with her parents, with her relatives, with the society and even she turns against God.  We must try to understand the woman of today and if we are parents, we must try to fulfill the wishes and desires of woman of today.  The wishes and desires of woman of today could be enumerated as noted below:-

(1)    She wants that she must be having proper education, proper training and proper adjustment at work from where she is earning proper income.  she does not want to be dependant upon her husband or upon her in laws.  She wants to stand at her own feet and she wants to be financially sound.

(2)    She wants that her husband must be having proper education, proper training and must be holding a status which may be higher than her own status and he must be having sound income with which they both could be able to run a good family administration.

(3)    She wants that her husband should not be drunkard, opium eater or drug addict nor he should be a gambler.  She wants that her husband should be having good character and may not be indulging in dancing girls, call girls, prostitutes or he must not be having relations with other women.  She wants a man and she wants to be the only woman in his life.

(4)    She wants that her parents must be sparing due share in properties and that should be given to her in dowry because she knows that without due dowry, she would not be having sound footings in the house of her in laws. 

(5)    She wants that her parents may be celebrating her marriage like that of their sons and there should be no shortcoming in the reception of barat and the baraatis.

(6)    She wants to see her would be husband before marriage and she wants that her parents, though having arranged marriage, yet they must allow her to have a separate meeting with her would be husband and she wants to see whether she would be liking this man in her life and shall be enjoying her sex life to her full satisfaction or his look does not come within her zone of liking.  If she is not liking the man, she wants that she must be allowed to say ‘No’ to her parents and also to the would be in laws.

(7)    The girl of today does not like to marry a boy who does not come within her zone of likings.

(8)    She shall ask the would be husband whether he has got some girl friend and if so, whether he would be able to forget her and if not what they shall do in presence of that girl.

(9)    She wants to observe independently during the period of waiting marriage and if she comes to understand that this man shall not be a fit person for her, she wants to give true information to her parents.

(10)                                                                                     She wants that her husband should be in a position to provide her a good honeymoon.

(11)                                                                                     She shall like to see her would be mother in law, father in law and sisters in law and also brothers in law.  She would like to know what are the liabilities and responsibilities of her husband and she would like to assess whether she would be able to share his responsibilities and all liabilities. If she feels that she would not be able to face all these liabilities, she shall not agree for this marriage.

(12)                                                                                     She would like that she should not be kept as a slave, but she should be getting all the liberties and she would be able to visit her parents, her friends and relatives and they too shall be able to visit her as and when they so desire or they could get time.

(13)                                                                                     She shall desire that there shall be no adverse comments on her parents from the side of her in laws and from the side of her husband.

(14)                                                                                     She shall like that her in laws should not behave with her like a domestic servant.

(15)                                                                                     She would like to become a full-fledged member of the house of her in laws and she shall desire an undertaking from the side of her husband that they shall be having no secret things from her.  She shall desire that all matters should be discussed with her too and her comments may be considered on merits.

(16)                                                                                     She would not like that her husband is ignoring her and is preferring some other women in the house.

(17)                                                                                     She shall like that her father in law, her brother in law and all other men in the house have got love, regard and respect for her.

(18)                                                                                     The girl of today wants a handsome husband who should be in a position to accompany her in social gatherings and she must be proud of her achievement that she could have such a handsome, social, wise, having good manners.

(19)                                                                                     She desires that all attending her marriage must say that the occasion had been celebrated in a fine manner and everyone had been entertained in a good manner.

(20)                                                                                     She wants that her parents had given all the items which are accompanying a girl of her social status.

(21)                                                                                     And every girl of today wants that she should be sent to a beauty parlour where she should get a final touch and must be able to give complete show to her personality.

(22)                                                                                     She wants that handsome and attractive women must be called in her marriage so that they could give a good show to the occasion.

(23)                                                                                     She wants that the place where marriage is celebrated must be prepared as per latest designs.

                 These are some of the basic desires in a woman and the parents are the first persons, who should try to understand their daughter and then decide the future course in life of their daughter.  They should not ignore all her wishes and desires and if they fail, they shall be facing more and more difficulties because the woman of the present time shall not try to face all these difficulties because she is not dependant upon her husband and when she herself is an earning hand, she shall like that her own wishes and desires should also be fulfilled.                             ——————–
